Does anyone know why some sites are giving GB credit for a fumble recovery and other sites aren't? I know it's the Cunningham touchback play.  Could it be GB didn't actually recover because the ball went out the endzone? Thanks.

This is reason #1 that you should never trust various web sites with their stats or scoring.  ESPN, CBS, etc. just make stuff up all the time.  If it's not in the NFL Gamebook, it didn't happen.  MFL to my knowledge gets their stats feed that mimics the Gamebooks.

Here is the gamebook for the GB-CHI game:  http://www.nfl.com/g...einfo&tab=recap

Link on the right side under "Game Access".

It clearly shows Chicago (Cunningham) losing a fumble out of bounds and no actual recovery by the Packers.  Thus, if a site like ESPN is showing GB with a fumble recovery, then they are wrong and just doing their own thing.  Now certainly possible Elias could come down with a stat change but I highly doubt it in this case.

When in doubt, check the Gamebook.  :)
