Have several Leagues with Minimum Position Requirements and when a Franchise tries to place a Player on IR he can't because he is below the minimum.

Isn't there a work-around other than reducing the minimums and/or have the Commissioner do the transaction?  I seem to remember something along this line.

Thanks - Mitch

Okay let me ask this instead -

Here's the 14-Man Roster requirements

QB - 2

RB - 2

WR - 3

TE - 2

PK - 2

DEF - 1

FLEX - 2  (1 RB or 1 WR; either one each or 2 in either Position)

We all know that the Software will not monitor the minimum # Drafted in each Position and supposedly monitor the max allowed, but there's a glitch in the system

I had a Franchise draft the following

Rnd 1 - RB

Rnd 2 - WR

Rnd 3 - WR

Rnd 4 - WR

Rnd 5 - RB

Rnd 6 - RB

Rnd 7 - TE

Rnd 8 - RB

Rnd 9 - WR (This Pick put him over the limit of 2 Flex Players)

Rnd 10 - QB

Rnd 11 - QB

Rnd 12 - DST

Rnd 13 - PK

Rnd 14 - Pick Pending (Will either be a TE or PK leaving him short in one of this Positions).

Thus, he will end the Draft in non-compliance of the minimum requirements.

What, if anything, could I have done to prevent the number of RBs or WRs from exceeding the Max Allowed for this Positions?

Any help will be appreciated.

Nothing you could have done, there is a roster min/max and total across all positions.  It's set up (and always has been) for either full flex across the whole roster or very rigid per position.  All my leagues historically (on MFL or not) have been this way.  Honestly in this era I only have one league left that is rigid still with roster requirements, the others are all full flex.

So in a way you're trying to stick a square peg in a round whole situation.

Well then, don't you think its time MFL updated their program to monitor Min/Max Positions during the Draft?  I know that the Roster Report display one's needs and I would think the info is there to somehow incorporate into the Draft Module(s).

And does anybody know if ESPN's Draft Room monitors Min/Max during the Draft?

Never said they shouldn't or wouldn't like them to update to something like that.  Simply answered the question.  :)
