I find it annoying having everything showing by default. I'm tired of clicking the check boxes at the bottom. This code will check the boxes by default. Make sure to have jquery in your header.

<script>
$(document).ready(function(){

// check the boxes on live scoring
$('#hide_game_info_cb, #hide_stats_cb, #hide_nonstarters_cb').trigger("click");

});
</script>

Hey SE wonder if anyone uses that MFL scoreboard?  That page is a MESS, but thanks for the improvement.

You can pretty much count on 98-99% of MFL's customers use the default stuff.  Only the crazy few actually do all the coding and stuff.

I've gone to the default new scoreboard myself.  it's a bit of a mess but pretty decent and a huge upgrade over the 1999 scoreboard that's been there forever.  I really like the inline stats the most.

Yep i guess its better than MFL old 1999 default Score board......but NO WAY in heck am i using it over the custom scoreboards (mini or responsive) those are clean and compact with information....but i am spoiled lol

I hear ya.  I've slowly over the past couple years weaned off of as much custom code as I can.  Mainly because my guys just don't care so it's time I put in for little gain other then for myself.  The new MFL scoreboard is "good enough" that I just don't want to mess with custom code on it anymore.  That's not to say that Habmans/TOS scoreboard isn't awesome, it is.  And who knows, I may put it back someday, but I'm trying out the MFL board and so far none of my owners have complained about the change and I had a couple comments about the inline stat updates and such.

I think I'm down to just Habman's "what if the playoffs started today" code as the only custom I have left, which I definitely can't live without.  :)

I've never messed with any of the scripts on this site. Where would I paste this code?

Put it an a home page message along with JQuery and mark it as a header.

MFL can easily clean this up by changing one function that sets up the table layout.

Example:

Default: http://www68.myfanta..._ls?L=29385&W=2

Slight Modification: http://www68.myfanta...85&W=2&CUSTOM=1

Everything still works and it's a little less painful on the eyes.

Thanks.

In case anybody else comes across this, I simply pasted this code into one of the "Home Page Message Setup" boxes.

<script src="//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.12.0/jquery.min.js"></script>

<script>
$(document).ready(function(){

// check the boxes on live scoring
$('#hide_game_info_cb, #hide_stats_cb, #hide_nonstarters_cb').trigger("click");

});
</script>

Both of these look exactly the same on my end.

The link is being re-directed away from the new Ajax scoreboard to the old scoreboard. Not sure why.

Edit to add: It's because week 2 is specified

Also they have changed their default layout just a bit which is an improvement.  They added a line break to the NFL game which shrinks that column and they also added player team and position but on a separate line as well.

Anyway try these but their default view is improving:

Default: http://www68.myfanta...x_ls?L=29385&W=

Tweaked: http://www68.myfanta...385&W=&CUSTOM=1
