Does that site have the open bidding on it? It looks awesome so far, but I do have a suggestion....IF THAT is the open bidding we have been discussing this year, I hope it will resemble e-bay bidding instead. While that look good, it shows you WHO is up for bidding, which could TIP OFF some owners who dont do their own homework.

Can you give some more details aboutthe auction set up you have on this site? It looks awesome so far

The Frosted Mugs league uses an open auction. We added a chat room off site so we can keep track of the owners and discuss any problems during the auction. We will start and draft the starting "8 line up" at one session, then close it out and auction the remainder of the players to fill out 14 man rosters with a 48 hour bid time. The auction is open for all to bid against one another. Maximize the pain so to speak. I'm not sure if you were referring to the site I posted, but if so, thanks Shamrock.
PS - we did an open auction in another league on this site similar to this format. It took about 4 hours (10 teams - 16 players). The Chat room was a much needed item as we were able to address problems as they occured. We would have 5 owners post 1 player each round til we got down to the "ash and trash" stuff (the $1.00 bids) then we had to go 1 at a time in a pre determined order. Hope this helps.

I was referring to the WAIVERs for any given week...We want to have "ebay style" bidding on free agents next year and Kevin said that would be a priority for the 2005 season. I was just curious if that was set up on your site. Thanks!

We used auction the whole season - 48 hours - make your best bid. Cap on the league this year was a total of 200. We did not use a blind bid format. We did use the "ebay" style bidding offered by MFL and it worked pretty good - the only problem is the Commish can see the "ebay" max bids in the reports. Tim
